Indexing Insight vs IndexMachine: Monitoring vs. Fixing
Indexing Insight is an enterprise monitoring platform — it tells you which of your million pages are indexed and which aren't. It's excellent at that.
But it doesn't submit URLs for you. IndexMachine does both: monitors and auto-submits across Google, Bing, and LLMs.
Different tools for different needs — here's how to decide which one you actually need.
| Capability | IndexMachine | Indexing Insight |
|---|---|---|
| Primary function | Auto-submit + monitor | Monitor only |
| Submit URLs to Google | Automatic | Not available |
| Bing indexing | Google only | |
| LLM indexing (ChatGPT) | ||
| Index status monitoring | With alerts | Deep analytics |
| Scale | SMB (1-10K pages) | Enterprise (up to 1M) |
| Target audience | Founders, SMBs, agencies | Enterprise SEO teams |
| Pricing | From $12.50 lifetime | Enterprise pricing (demo required) |
Indexing Insight Tells You What's Wrong. It Doesn't Fix It.
Indexing Insight is a monitoring and diagnostics platform. It inspects your URLs via Google's URL Inspection API, tracks index status over time, segments your pages by indexing reason, and sends alerts when important pages drop. For enterprise sites with 100K+ pages, this visibility is critical.
But it stops at diagnostics. Once Indexing Insight tells you that 3,000 pages are "Discovered — currently not indexed" — you still need a separate tool or manual process to actually submit those URLs. It's the dashboard, not the mechanic.
Indexing Insight
Monitor → Diagnose → Alert → You fix it manually
IndexMachine
Detect → Submit → Retry → Report → Done automatically
Enterprise Monitoring vs. SMB Automation: Choose Your Problem
These tools solve different problems for different audiences:
Indexing Insight's problem: "Which of our 500K pages fell out of the index?"
Enterprise e-commerce sites, large publishers, corporate websites with dedicated SEO teams. They need deep analytics and segmentation across hundreds of thousands of pages. Monitoring at this scale is the core challenge.
IndexMachine's problem: "I need my pages indexed without babysitting the process."
SaaS founders, agencies, solopreneurs, and growing sites with 100-10,000 pages. They don't need an analytics platform — they need their pages submitted, monitored, and resubmitted automatically.
Key difference: If you have a 6-person SEO team analyzing indexation across 500K product pages, Indexing Insight makes sense. If you're a founder or small team who just wants pages indexed without thinking about it — that's IndexMachine.
What Indexing Insight Doesn't Do (That You Might Expect)
No URL submission. It monitors indexing status but won't submit or resubmit pages to Google for you.
No Bing support. Monitors Google only. If you care about Bing (and the DuckDuckGo/ChatGPT ecosystem it powers), you need a separate tool.
No LLM indexing. No submission to ChatGPT, GPTBot, or other AI crawlers.
No autopilot. It watches — it doesn't act. You (or your team) still need to take action based on the reports.
No self-serve pricing. Enterprise demo required — not accessible for solo founders or small teams.
None of this makes Indexing Insight bad — it's built for a different job. But if you landed here expecting a tool that fixes indexing problems, not just reports them, IndexMachine is what you're looking for.
IndexMachine: Monitor + Submit + Retry — All Automatic
IndexMachine combines monitoring and submission into one closed loop. It doesn't just tell you a page isn't indexed — it submits it, checks back, and resubmits until it's in. No manual intervention, no separate tools, no enterprise sales process.
Not just Google
Not just monitor

Can You Use Both? Actually, Yes.
These tools are more complementary than competitive. If you're at the scale where Indexing Insight makes sense (100K+ pages, dedicated SEO team), you could use:
- •Indexing Insight for deep monitoring, segmentation, and analytics across your Google index
- •IndexMachine for automated submission, Bing coverage, and LLM indexing
But for most sites — the ones with 100 to 10,000 pages — you don't need enterprise-grade monitoring. You need a tool that handles the whole job: detect new pages, submit them, confirm they're indexed, alert you if something breaks. IndexMachine does exactly that.
